Courage, Compassion, Climate Change: Early Earth Day Event

Please join us at this retreat in April. The increasing instability of the world’s weather systems and the disruptions they cause have made climate change a serious mental health issue. Disoriented and anxious, many of us experience ecological grief, distress and even depression, often on an unconscious level. On the eve of Earth Day, we’ll face the hard facts about climate change, explore how this affects our emotional and mental wellbeing, engage our feelings through artistic expression, share practices that cultivate courage and compassion to keep on living bravely in ways that benefit our communities, and get outside on the healing land of the Ignatius Jesuit Centre.

Date: Sunday, April 21st, 2024 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. $25, Bring your own lunch.

Meet Natalie

I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and I have a PhD in Philosophy. I'm here to provide you with a safe and compassionate place to support you in counselling and psychotherapy.

My approach to psychotherapy and counselling is holistic and informed by my background in philosophy and my own personal experiences. You'll find I'm just as comfortable talking about things like values, ethics, meaning and purpose as well as the full range of emotions and challenges we all feel as part of the human experience, like anxiety, sadness and grief.

I  can also incorporate nature into therapy through eco therapy and other nature-based approaches like walk and talk therapy.

If you might be interested in group therapy or a Climate Cafe, please send me an email to express your interest.
