Meet Natalie

I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and I have a PhD in Philosophy. I'm here to provide you with a safe and compassionate place to support you in counselling and psychotherapy.

My approach to psychotherapy and counselling is holistic and informed by my background in philosophy, the specific courses and trainings I've completed, and my own personal experiences. As such, you'll find I'm just as comfortable talking about things like values, ethics, meaning and purpose as well as the full range of emotions and challenges we all feel as part of the human experience, like anxiety, sadness, grief and overwhelm. I  can also incorporate nature into therapy through eco therapy and other nature-based approaches like walk and talk therapy.

You can book a complimentary session to see if you'd like to work with me.

I currently work online from Guelph and can provide service for anyone in Ontario by phone or video.

If you might be interested in group therapy or a Climate Cafe, please send me an email to express your interest.

A mindful, compassionate and trauma-sensitive approach to counselling and psychotherapy

I specialize in evidence-based, mindful and compassionate approaches to support you in your experiences with different types of losses, grief, anxiety, depression and the stresses you are feeling related to your personal or professional life.

You might be feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, exhausted, sad, anxious, or you might not be able to express what you're feeling in words. As a professional or personal caregiver, you might also be suffering from moral injury, compassion fatigue or burnout and need support in healing.

My years of teaching and working in University and College environments, as well as my experiences as a student provide me with a wide range of knowledge of and empathy for the challenges students and faculty can face personally and professionally.

I use an integrative and holistic approach to counselling that is tailored to your goals and needs, whatever they may be.
